How to simplify your life...

So many people are talking about living with less, being "minimalists".

It sounds wonderful to a lot of people...less housework, less clutter, more time to enjoy life.

But is it really practical?

What I find really amusing, are the people who have "rules" for being a Minimalist.  Such as,

*  You can only own 30 items of clothing,
*  You have to ride your bike everywhere, and
*  Only keep one sheet, one towel, one cup, one plate, etc.

Really?

What about different seasons?  Or if I live a long way away from my family / friends / work?  Or what if I really really like two cups?

The first 'rule' about becoming a Minimalist, is that there shouldn't be any rules except for the ones that you make for yourself.

Just something to think about for now.

I will be doing more posts about this over the coming weeks, to give you more practical ways of simplifying your life.  Very exciting things to come!!  Stay tuned!

  1. I have more than 30 t-shirts alone. It would be next to impossible for me to own 30 pieces of clothes period. I have a website that sells t-shirts https://besttshirtsgoldcoast.com so I think you can see my predicament. Any suggestions?

  2. Do you actually wear all of the t-shirts that you own? Do you really even like them all? Do you find yourself wearing the same four or five over and over again?

Your business sounds great! Do you wear all of your designs for advertising?

I'd suggest you just have a look at the clothes that you have. If you don't love it and / or don't wear it, then don't keep it.

Let me know how you go!
